These terms cover the Third Brain website, the waitlist, and — once you have it — the pre-release Third Brain software. They're written in plain language on purpose. Using the site or the software means you accept them.
The website and waitlist
- The site's content is provided for information about Third Brain. We work to keep it accurate, but pre-release plans (including pricing and features labeled "coming soon") can and do change before launch.
- Joining the waitlist doesn't create an obligation on either side: we're not promising a delivery date, and you're not promising to buy anything. How we handle your signup data is covered by the Privacy Policy.
Pre-release software
- It's a beta. Third Brain is under active development and is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind — express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Features may change, break, or be removed.
- Keep backups. Your data stays on your machine, in open formats — which also means you're responsible for backing it up. We can't recover data we never had.
- Your accounts, your rules. When you connect Third Brain to services you use (email, chat, code hosting), you're responsible for complying with those services' terms and your employer's policies.
- License. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the pre-release software while it's offered. You agree not to redistribute it or use it to build a competing service while it's in beta.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Third Brain Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site or the pre-release software. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us — which, during the free beta, is zero.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the product moves from beta to launch; we'll update the date above when we do. Material changes to how paid tiers work will come with their own notice. Questions: hello@thirdbrain.co.
